After 25 years and many thousands of hours underwa After 25 years and many thousands of hours underwater around the world I finally broke a life promise and went for a dive in England 😅 The site was chosen for me and it was (obviously) a quarry, with 2m vis and a water temp of around 14°C even in the middle of summer. It was an absolute pleasure to share the very green experience with @marksharmancam while we completed our @gates.underwater STO course on the dual 8K Black Magic Cine Immersive camera inside a Gates housing. Thanks so much to Gates, @richstevenson.uk @dave.blackham and @waterproofmedia.tv for putting on the course for us. Looking forward to putting this rig to the test in slightly better conditions back home in Malaysia soon

I’ll always keep an eye out for hunting behaviour when it’s dark and stormy. In August 2024 I had the chance to film the incred In August 2024 I had the chance to film the incredible manta feeding frenzy at one of my favorite places in the Ocean - Hanifaru bay - for @humblebeefilms new series Moon: Nature's Secret Force. We had a great little team of myself, Director @tasha.busjeet and AC @morlo_wildlife (free)diving with @liquidsaltdivers out of Dharavandhoo Island Huge thanks go to the @mantatrust whom I am beyond proud to be a patron of. Besides advising on our shoot both before and during filming, they have worked tirelessly over the past two decades to help gazette the bay as a Marine Protected Area and study its seasonal inhabitants. No mean feat in itself, but a drop in the Ocean compared to their wider efforts to study and conserve this peerless, graceful animal, in the Maldives and around the world.
